The Fire Salamander

In the warm cave, a bright-red salamander sleeps on hot coals. You approach slowly and explain that you need one ember for the blacksmith.

The salamander sneezes, and a tiny glowing ember lands before you. The dwarf relights his forge and reveals the dragon's weakness: not its iron-hard scales, but its shadow.
