From our family to yours

We enjoyed making those stories so much that we wanted to build a place where other children could choose a path and join in too. Every story on the shelf is one we’ve worked on, read through and felt happy to share.

My kids are wonderfully honest test readers. They notice when a choice is boring, when a character does something odd, or when an ending needs more sparkle. That makes this a proper family project—not just Dad sitting at a computer.

Where AI fits in

We use AI to help us brainstorm ideas, untangle branching paths and get early drafts moving. It gives us starting material, not the final say. We choose the ideas, reshape the writing and check every path ourselves.

Once a story is published, every page is already written. There isn’t a chatbot talking to children while they read.

Why we keep it free

We want a child to be able to open a story without an account, a subscription or an advert getting in the way. If a grown-up chooses to support us, it helps with hosting and artwork, but it will always be optional.
