Privacy, in plain English
A story shouldn’t need your details
Children can read here without telling us who they are. That’s how we believe a family story site should work.
What we don’t ask for
There is no registration and no child profile. We don’t ask readers for a name, age, email address or school. We don’t build advertising profiles, fingerprint devices or sell personal information.
What the web host sees
Cloudflare hosts the site for us. Like any web host, it may briefly process technical details needed to deliver a page securely and block abuse, such as an IP address, the page requested, browser type and time of the request.
Simple visitor numbers
We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see broad totals such as page views, popular stories, approximate country, device or browser type, and where visitors arrived from. The stories do not depend on analytics, and we don’t use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or advertising trackers.
Links for grown-ups
The optional Support Us link opens Buy Me a Coffee, which has its own privacy terms. We keep that link in the grown-up parts of the site and out of the story-reading choices.
If anything changes
We’ll update this page before introducing any new kind of data collection. Last updated: 1 September 2026.
